NOTES / BIO | Maker of violins, violas, cellos and other traditional instruments. Giuseppe Rossitti was a violin maker from Tolmezzo, a town in the Carnia region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Initially trained as a master carpenter, he transitioned into lutherie, gaining recognition for his finely crafted violins. The Rossitti family tradition continues through Giuseppe’s son, Gilberto, who now leads the workshop. The workshop, known as Fratelli Rossitti, remains active in Tolmezzo. |
